SUMMER SPEED PROGRAM

The Summer Speed Program is a staple of MASH Performance. The focus of speed training will include acceleration, deceleration, and top speed maintenance. The camp will prioritize improving movement efficiency, form, and concepts through increased age-appropriate modalities and intensities.

We build groups that will push each other in a fast paced environment, aiming to develop good running form and technique by reviewing techniques extensively throughout the summer.

SESSION DETAILS

Warm-Up: Spend 15 minutes preparing your body with dynamic movements and exercises to optimize performance and prevent injuries.
Circuit-Based Technique and Injury Prevention Exercises: Focus on improving agility and addressing injury prevention through targeted exercises.
Change of Direction: Sharpen your ability to swiftly change direction with precision and control.
Conditioning: Enhance your overall fitness and endurance with dynamic conditioning drills.
Plyometrics: Develop explosive power and athleticism through plyometric exercises.
