Austin brings a hefty amount of unique experience across all facets of the fitness industry. By entering the field at the age of 15, he brings over 15 years of experience to the MASH Performance team.

Beginning his personal training and group fitness endeavors at the age of 19 at Iowa State University, he acquired a passion that has only grown to be a vital and essential fit to the MASH culture.

Following his acquisition of a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology and minor focus on Exercise Psychology, Austin leveraged his drive and steered his focus towards impacting lives through development of relationships, instilling his knowledge of the importance of health and wellness, impacting hundreds of lives within the general adult population, and to have individual’s believe that they can make life better one building block at a time.

All of the components of his past bring about an opportunity that aims to inspire growth on a daily basis, to bring consistent energy and to educate the community with the MASH mission that it takes consistency over intensity to accomplish our goals that often seem so daunting. By developing relationships, encouraging the community to work together towards the mission, and spreading the simple message which is to:

Start with love and watch your life change, but it cannot be done without loving yourself first. By investing in yourself, it takes a village of support to continue to understand not only our bodies, but by using our hearts and minds to believe we are worth it. We are worth designing the life of our dreams, but it always starts with action.
